The organization consists of family law paralegals from several Pennsylvania counties who are interested in centralizing information and providing mutual support in this highly specialized field.

Our Mission

In today’s ever-advancing technological environment, we have it within our power to network efficiently to share information and resources and to provide mutual support in this highly specialized field. It is the intention of FLPP to be the medium through which this happens. Collectively, through our members’ individual talents and skills, we will ultimately be able to provide reliable resources for family law practice in all Pennsylvania counties.

While family law practice is generally regulated by state law, it’s a well-known fact that each county has its own family law structure, implementation procedures, and county-specific forms. Every paralegal has experienced the frustration of attempting to file a pleading, obtain a form, or simply find out the HOW of getting something done in a county in which they have had little experience. Too often, we find ourselves learning county-specific practices primarily through exhausting and inefficient means such as Google searches and trial-and-error.

In today’s ever-advancing technological environment, we have it within our power to network quickly and efficiently to share information and resources and to assist one another in refining our skills. It is the intention of FLPP to be the medium through which this happens. If you are interested in joining a dynamic group of family law paralegals focused on taking our profession and our practice area to the next level, feel free to contact me, or contact our membership chairperson, Jenn Echikson.
